Features

Control and HMI
The machine has a PLC control system
It is possible to store hundreds of winding programs. All movements can be manually controlled by the operator.
Head Stock
The headstock consists of a mandrel, on which the coil is wound, an HMI to control the process and a tailstock as a support for the winding unit.
Tail Stock
The tailstock is designed to ease the unloading of the wound coil.
It also secures the perfect alignment of the mandrel.
Foil Cutter
The cross-over shearing type cutter is supported by moving rollers for better grip at the time of shearing without stretching the foils
The automatic foil-cutting system will function based on the position of the bus bar on the coil and will cut the foil based on the pre-programmed position
Feeder Unit
Used to feed foil from de-coiler to mandrel position during the initial stage of foil setting and after foil cutting at cycle end
Foil Feed devices are motorized units with pneumatically operated press rollers
Inter foil Insulation Unit
Insulation De-coiler is used to load the Insulation raw materials
One / Two insulation de-coilers can be mounted below the foil centre stand. The unit can be easily moved out of the centre stand for easy loading
The pneumatically expanded shaft is equipped with a Back tension braking for tensioning.
The paper tension can be adjusted automatically.
Web Aligning Unit
Automatic alignment system ensures that the foil alignment is in sync with the previous winding cycle.
As this technique runs in a closed loop, the deviation is rectified immediately when it senses a 0.5mm variation.
Tig Welding Unit
The welding unit is used to weld the bus bar to the ends of the Foil.
The Foil end and the bus bar are placed on the welding jig and are clamped together using pneumatic cylinders and the welding automatically starts at the set speed.
Decoiler Unit
The foil de-coiler is used to load the raw materials
It is a hydraulically operated collapsible type with a closed loop asynchronous geared motor driven to achieve maximum line tension through the main winding motor.
Edge Strip Unit
The edge strip paper is used for the end insulation of the coil
The edge strip unit contains three Insulation Paper insulation shafts on each side with the guiding and manual tensioning unit and can be adjusted as per the coil width with the help of screw rod mechanism. Both the left and right sides are independent.
